DropCommerce is a Shopify app connecting thousands of online dropshipping stores with their proprietary network of high quality US suppliers for product sourcing. Dropcommerce can help customers source the best US & Canadian products with fast shipping and a 30-50% profit margin. Every supplier on the platform is hand picked for high quality, unique products, and fast shipping.


DropCommerce has achieved a 15% average monthly revenue growth over 12 months with 5000 active Shopify store users.

DropCommerce remains competitive by focusing on the high quality niche, offering US and Canadian brands with fast domestic shipping. They build real relationships and trust with their stores and suppliers. They operate as a curated two-sided marketplace where suppliers have full control of their profiles and pricing.



Patrick Kelly, CEO – Patrick is a customer experience-focused founder. He also has web development experience which he leverages in building out DropCommerce’s platform.

Spencer Bonthoux, COO – Spencer is an experienced operations and service delivery leader. With DropCommerce he focuses on driving the commercialization of the product.

Gordon Paterson, Marketing Director – Gordon has worked in a variety of marketing, sales, and business development roles across a number of verticals. He has also co-founded a consulting firm which provides business development and sales strategy services.



The DropCommerce team have raised $25,000 in a pre-seed round. They are looking to raise a further $100,000.

DropCommerce will use this capital to accelerate growth through paid marketing channels and increased sales efforts. Their current goal is to increase both their supplier network and their Shopify user base by a factor of 10. These may be aggressive goals for a small team, but the team focuses on automating internal processes that scale, which allows DropCommerce to operate with the effectiveness of a larger team.

They are actively looking to hire a full time customer success/technical support role. They will look to onboard some additional development capacity and sales professionals at a later date.

Revenue Model

DropCommerce operates a subscription-based fee scheme. The business earns monthly recurring subscription revenue from their Shopify store customers at $39/month for their Professional plan.
